One of the meet up groups I belong to went today to photograph Wilton’s Music Hall off Cable street in East London. Unfortunately, although it was Open House day, they did not let us in the main hall to take photos, which is ridiculous!
I spent my hour there taking pictures of the ghostly mirrors, windows and stairways. It is a very atmospheric place and dates back to the 18th century when a pub existed on this site for the sailors who frequented this area of London; their ships being moored at Limehouse on the River Thames. It has recently been refurbished and is a thriving music hall, theatre and music venue.
