January 2020: we visited the Kings X site today, it’s two years since we’ve been here, so much is now finished and we were really pleased to see our old friends the gasometers in situ.
Lots of green spaces. history, ironwork and different levels with cafes and restaurants, a pleasure to walk around, so different from the cold hearted Gallions Reach development which we visited last week
Sunday April 2nd 2017: Subs and I went for a look around Kings Cross to see the latest developments. It is looking really amazing, but a year later than the one below – it’s still not finished. There are flats in the gasometers!
Friday April 8th 2016: Subs and I went to the Granary at Kings Cross to check out the ceramics fair there but it was too expensive to go in so we did a wonderful shop of lunch foods in the new Waitrose instead!: caviar, italian ham, rosemary bread, wine, good coffee….
